Fallout 4: Automatron

The first trailer has been released for the first DLC for one of the best games released in the modern era, Fallout 4. From what I can tell Automatron will deal with the rise of robots and the ability to build and upgrade a robotic companion (which to me has infinite possibilities). View for yourself below:

Captain America: Civil War (trailer 2)

After an incredible original trailer and an equally impressive (albeit short) Superbowl ad, the second trailer for Captain America: Civil War has premiered and wow, it does not disappoint. From the dark tone to the final shot which we have all been waiting for, this could be Marvel’s greatest film to date. View for yourself below:

The Ghostbusters reboot trailer arrives

After all kinds of controversy (and a whole lot of sexism) the trailer for the much debated Ghostbusters has arrived, and while visually looking pretty damn impressive, the trailer basically shows us that while yes this is a reboot, it will tread over much familiar ground.  The archetypes for the four ghostbusters seem to remain the same, as does the familiar plot of ghosts taking over New York.  That being said, the movie is also blessed to have four of the funniest women on the planet in it, so we will have to wait and see how the finished product turns out.  View for yourself below:

Daredevil season 2

About a week ago I posted a link to the season 2 trailer of Daredevil on my Facebook group The Dark Side Blog.   This trailer did quite a good job of showcasing The Punisher in Hell’s Kitchen; which is an interesting concept considering that daredevil “cleaned up Hell’s Kitchen”.  The new trailer showcases Elektra, a favorite ally of Daredevil, and she definitely does not disappoint.  I think that season 2 of Daredevil will easily be as good as season 1. The question remains though: what role will Vincent D’Onofrio’s Carlton Fisk play in this season? Is he the mastermind behind the scenes pulling the strings, or has he been rendered impotent while he’s been in prison?  You can judge for yourself when you view both trailers below:

Pete’s dragon

One of my favorite childhood films, but also oft forgotten was Pete’s Dragon.  The story of an orphaned boy who’s best friend is an animated dragon that only he can see.  Disney has decided to finally remake this classic and from the look and vibe of this teaser, I think they nailed it.  Gone is the animated dragon, they have replaced it with a fully CGI dragon.  We don’t get a great look at it, but it’s enough.  The movie also boasts a strong cast with both Bryce Dallas Howard and the incredible Robert Redford.  View for yourself below:
