Fallout 4 revealed.

As the good people at Bethesda announced this morning, “The wait is over”. The world got its first look at Fallout 4 this morning and I must say, it looks impressive. It had every hallmark of a Fallout video game: a post-apocalyptic futuristic setting juxtaposed with mid 1900’s style and music, mentions of the vault, the Pip-Boy 2000, and of course a lone traveler and his dog. The game seems to greatly utilize the next-gen game engine as it looks quite polished. As a huge fan of the entire series (I played the first Fallout many years ago in 98′, I believe), this trailer has me waiting with bated breath. Decide for yourself after you view below:

Fallout 4 announcement coming soon?

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of Bethesda’s Fallout 4, the direct sequel to one of the greatest rpg’s ever (in my opinion) Fallout 3. If you visit the link below, it will take you to Bethesda’s website which currently has a countdown timer going. The question is what will happen when the timer reaches zero? Will it be the Fallout 4 announcement? Or an announcement for a remastered version of Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas? Either way we find out soon. View for yourself below.

The Supergirl trailer arrives

CBS has released the trailer for their upcoming tv series Supergirl. The show is very much more in line with Smallville than it is with Gotham or Man of Steel. The trailer as a whole boasts quite a high production value, but what is interesting is the tone of the show; it’s a mix of The Devil Wears Prada with a superhero twist. Now, I don’t want you to think that I think the show is going to be bad. I think that the show is going to be interesting if they balance the humor of the show with the action. And from what I’ve seen of the action, the show is heading in the right direction. I suggest you give it a chance. Cheers! Judge for yourself below:

The Jem and the Holograms trailer arrives

Well, after seeing pictures and character descriptions, the trailer for the film Jem and the Holograms has finally arrived, and I have mixed emotions about it. Years ago a Josie and the Pussycats movie was released, and it was far more brilliant than most gave it credit for. It was campy, but at the same time was making social commentary on how pop music was being manufactured and how people were treated as sheep who were buying that music. Later on Alvin and the Chipmunks hinted at the same flaw (in fact I swear by the fact that Alvin and the Chipmunks was actually the story of N’Sync). This film on the other hand looks a lot darker in terms of its overall plot, and I can’t fathom why the Misfits are not featured at all in this trailer (true Jem fans, you know what I’m talking about). Yet, as always, we will see how the finished product turns out. Decide for yourself after you view below:

Marvel releases the cast of Captain America: Civil War

Marvel has issued a press release documenting the cast of their upcoming Captain America: Civil War. They are definitely putting in a lot of superheroes into this film. Confirmed are the old and new members of The Avengers, along with “Chadwick Boseman (“42,” “Get on Up”) as T’Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Revenge”) as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl (“Inglourious Basterds,” “Bourne Ultimatum”), Frank Grillo (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Warrior”) as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt (“A History of Violence,” Marvel’s “The Incredible Hulk”) as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and Martin Freeman (“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies”). ”

Also making an appearance will be Paul Rudd as Ant-Man. Hopefully they can find a way to balance all of these heroes. You can read the full article here.
