After many strangely quiet months from the world of Star Wars, the good people at Disney finally gave us our first look at what is supposed to be the final entry into the Skywalker saga with the trailer/teaser for Episode IX of Star Wars.  The teaser doesn’t show us much, but it does give us some seemingly incredible information. We are treating to new lines spoken by Luke Skywalker, telling Rey that this is now her fight.  We also, see Rey perform some pretty spectacular acrobatics in dealing with Kylo Ren.

As cool as all of that is, the real surprise in the trailer is both the title The Rise of Skywalker, which is strange considering this film was supposed to mark the end of the Skywalker saga.  And of course, Luke Skywalker, saying “No one is ever gone” and then we hear a familiar evil laugh, which has to be Palpatine, which would be a major twist (albeit one that some have guessed).  It looks like the film is in good hands once again.
