Lex Luthor revealed

The first image of Jesse Eisenberg as the infamous villain Lex Luthor in next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In my opinion, he completely looks the part. Sources have stated that the character is supposed to be a young billionaire, so Eisenberg’s look is quite fitting. Judge for yourself below:

The X-files returns!

After months of speculation, Fox officially announced that the X-files will return with a limited six episode run. Both stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be returning for the event along with show creator Chris Carter. Filming will begin this summer, but no word has been released as to when the show will air.

The trailer for Pixels arrives.

Some weeks ago, I wrote about an upcoming movie called Pixels, you can read that article here. The first trailer for the film has finally been released. While the short film it was based on has a very dark feel to it, the makers of the feature length film apparently decided to go in a completely different direction with the inclusion of Adam Sandler and Kevin James. The child in me is incredibly exited for this to come out, but the adult in me is quite wary. Decide for yourself when you view it below.

What happened after Return of the Jedi?

Disney has announced that the books and comic books that they are prepared to release are officially considered cannon which make the release of the novel Star Wars: Aftermath, that much more important. The novel is penned by author Chuck Wendig and will begin to tell the story of what occurs after the destruction of the second Death Star. You can read the official press release and see the cover art of the novel below:

“In Star Wars: Aftermath, the second Death Star has just been destroyed. Rumors are flying that the Emperor and his enforcer, Darth Vader, are dead. A new government is forming to replace the Empire. But the galaxy is a big place, and the fallout of this cataclysm will affect different worlds in different ways. Does everyone accept the fall of Imperial rule? Mortal Kombat X reveals Cage and Blade as playable characters

The makers of Mortal Kombat have released a new trailer which features fan favorites Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade as playable characters in their upcoming Mortal Kombat X. The game looks to have all of the wonderful bone breaking violence that has made the series so popular for so long. The trailer also features our first look at the return of the infamous baddie Goro. Mortal Kombat X is due out April 14th.
