Taken 3 trailer arrives

I guess they are going to have to update the Liam Neeson kill map, because Liam Neeson is back, kicking ass again. The trailer for Taken 3 was released today and it seems that this time, no one will actually be taken but instead Neeson’s character will be framed for murder and the film will find him on the run. This seems as if it will be the final film in the series (and rightly so); hopefully taking it in a bit of a different direction this time will provide successful results. Judge for yourself below:

First Look at a Chrome Trooper and a Lightsaber Battle

The good people at indierevolver have posted what looks to be our first look at the rumored chrome stormtrooper and concept art of a lightsaber battle in front of the Millennium Falcon. I have to admit, the stormtrooper does look pretty damn cool (even though it is reminiscent of the old school Cylons). The lightsaber fight concept art looks incredibly powerful, especially set against the backdrop of the Millennium Falcon. I think that it will come across incredibly well on film, considering that the Millennium Falcon will not be CGI’d, but will instead be a full scale replica. View for yourself below:

First Look at Christopher Walken as Captain Hook

After the success of the Carrie Underwood led The Sound of Music, NBC is trying to see if lightning will strike again with their live adaptation of the stage musical of Peter Pan. The special will air December 4th, once again around the holiday season. Below is the first picture released featuring Allison Williams as the titular character, and the incredible Christopher Walken as Captain Hook. Enjoy.

The Liam Neeson Kill Map.

When I came across this, it seemed just too good not to post. The good people at collider posted the Liam Neeson kill map recently. While I’m not sure who the artist that created it is, whoever he or she may be put a fair amount of time and research into this project. The map not only shows the number of kills per country and movie, but it also goes so far as to list the weapon and manner of killing. Mockingjay trailer finally arrives

After months of teasers, the full Mockingjay trailer has finally arrived. This is the most intriguing of the adaptations to me because Mockingjay is widely regarded as the weakest of the three novels. Might we have a situation in which the film exceeds the novel? We’ll have to wait to November to find out. Enjoy.
