Along with launching the first trailer for Suicide Squad this evening the good people at DC have also given us our first look from the upcoming standalone Wonder Woman film.  The footage, while a bit dark, does a good job a showing both Wonder Woman’s roots in Greek mythology and the fact that the film will be a period piece.  Gal Godot looks spot on as the titular character and the film looks to be a worthy prequel to the little bits we have seen of her in the Batman v Superman trailer.  View for yourself below:
