Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

Well, the trailer for the new Ninja Turtles movie has descended upon us.  I’ll say this:  they have done an incredible job of keeping the spirit of this series alive.  Yes, people all over the place are going to criticize this film and its predecessor for being sophomoric.  But what do you think the goal of a series called “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” ever was?  Maybe a lot of adults have grown out of that type of humor, but that does not mean that it has not kept the spirit of its creation.  Think about yourself as a kid… how much would you have loved to see any kind of decent Bebop or Rocksteady on screen?  Now watch the trailer:

Batman vs Superman

I’m not going to write too much about this.  All I’m going to say is that everything that my childhood self dreamed of has come true, including the possibility  of Doomsday.   View for yourself below:

Captain America: Civil War

After much speculation, the much anticipated teaser/trailer for Captain America: Civil War arrived today. Disney used the Jimmy Kimmel show to debut the teaser. While it does give us a good idea of what the story is and where the rift occurs between Cap and Iron Man, it doesn’t give away too much else. We can see glimpses of Black Panther though fighting alongside Cap, and I must admit, the last 10 seconds of the trailer is both awe-inspiring and tragic at the same time.  We are still missing our first glimpse of the new Spider-man, I guess they are saving that gem for a bit later. The film itself is due out in April. In the meantime, view for yourself below:

The newest Star Wars trailer/ Is Luke Kylo Ren?

The Star Wars media blitz is continuing by releasing yet another look at The Force Awakens.  This look give us a bit more of a clear view of Rey and Finn’s relationship as well as giving us a bit deeper of a look at Kylo Ren.  This trailer makes clear his association with the dark side.  Also, if you look very closely at the battle room scene standing off to the left is a familiar face (hint: It’s a trap!).

I want to go on record as saying that I am not a believer in the Luke Skywalker is Kylo Ren theory.  From everything that I have read, Luke Skywalker is painted as public enemy #1 of the Empire (or First Order), which is why he is in hiding.  In fact, I believe that the people that we have seen standing with Kylo Ren in the rain in previous trailers are mandalorian bounty hunters tasked with helping Kylo Ren take down Skywalker.  Also, in a recent trailer it shows the back of Kylo Ren’s head while he is fighting Finn, it is clearly not Skywalker.  Don’t believe me, here is one picture:

And here is a shot from the trailer:

Both clearly show that Kylo is a separate person.  But I digress, you can view the trailer for yourself below:
