X-Wing and Tie Fighter Return

For those of you who are fans like me, you loved many of the Lucasfilm games of the 90’s. Games such as Rebel Assault, Rogue Squadron, Shadows of the Empire, and of course X-Wing and Tie Fighter took up great portions of my life during the decade. Now comes news that the latter two are going to be re-released back on to PC after years of fans demanding it. Both games are available as of today on Good old Games. These were two of the best flight simulators/Star Wars games ever released. Hopefully this new release gives a whole new generation an opportunity to enjoy them as well.

This is…awesome

Recently, I received an email from a friend asking me to watch the video below; let me explain: apparently, there is a Youtube user by the name of 1A4STUDIO who has been posting amazing videos in which he breaks down popular films in about sixty seconds or so. He does an incredible job with one of my favorite films of all time: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Disclaimer: the following video does contain some intense language, but is incredibly funny. The Avengers 2 trailer

Well, the trailer was supposed to debut next week, but it leaked its way online in the meantime, so Marvel and Disney made the smart choice and chose to run with it. So, here it is the teaser/trailer for Avengers: Rise of Ultron, which ends up showing us Ultron in several different forms, as well as our first look at the greatly anticipated Hulkbuster suit in action for the first time. The trailer also goes on to show us both the Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver in action as well. The whole trailer it set to the music of Pinocchio’s famous song “Got no strings”, which is brought to fruition by Ultron’s final lines in the trailer referencing the fact that he is freed and not controlled like the rest of the Avengers. This looks to be a much darker film than the original, and hopefully it will either equal or surpass its predecessor. Enjoy!

Star Wars 1,2, & 3 made into a single coherent film

The good people at Polygon have released a video which someone created which edits all 3 Star Wars films (Episodes I, II, & III) into one single coherent film, and let me tell you, they did a hell of a job with it. I would advise you to watch it soon, because it most certainly will be taken down. Enjoy!
