A day before the start of Comic Con the first poster for the third (and final) Hobbit movie has been released. It’s a pretty powerful image of Smaug bearing down on Laketown with only Bard standing prepared to fight.

The Dark Side 
And…bleah. So tired of LOTR. Wish it would end already. The end of The Return of the king has been an apt metaphor for this entire series: “OK, that’s the end, let’s leave the theat…oh, oh wait there’s more…OK…NOW it’s time to…no…wait…more…”
I’m sure they have 12 movies planned for the Silmarillion.
